Preserving the unique atmosphere on this clean, well-cared for, family-run Park, commercial letting is not allowed.

It is a wonderful get-away from life's stresses for artists, photographers, walkers, or those simply wishing to relax on the verandah with a glass of something cool and refreshing, taking in the views or watching spectacular sunsets.

Violet Bank is an ideal base for touring the National Park and the local coastal areas, typical country lanes ideal for the motorist which will be a pleasure to drive. And, the charming market town of Cockermouth, birthplace of William Wordsworth and a town well known by Fletcher Christian, is only 5 minutes away, where you will find numerous pubs, good hotels, several cafes and shops to suit all.
